What the extension accesses

When you click Analyse, the extension reads the DOM and computed styles of the web page you are currently viewing in the active tab. It uses this to derive the page's design system — colours, typography, spacing, components, and patterns.

This reading happens only in response to your explicit click, using Chrome's activeTab permission. The extension does not run in the background, does not read pages you have not asked it to analyse, and requests no host permissions.

How data is handled

• Local processing only. All analysis runs inside your browser. The extracted design data is never sent to us or to any third party.
• Local storage only. The most recent scan result is cached using chrome.storage.local so the report page can display it. This data stays on your device and is removed when you clear the extension's storage or uninstall it.
• Downloads stay with you. Export files (design tokens, CSS, Tailwind config, JSON catalogues, and the standalone HTML report) are saved directly to your own computer when you choose to download them.

Data we collect

None. We do not collect, receive, or have access to any of your data. We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising identifiers, or any tracking technology.

Permissions and why they are used

• activeTab — to read the current page's styles when you click Analyse.
• scripting — to inject the extraction routine into the active tab on demand.
• storage — to cache the latest scan locally so the report can render it.
• downloads — to let you save export files to your device.

Third-party services

The extension makes no network requests to any external service and includes no third-party code or remote scripts.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
